My Backyard

I live in the middle of Dallas, Texas. A pretty major city in the United States. Beautiful nature isn’t exactly what you think of when you hear the word “Dallas”. However, about 5 years ago we put in a really large vegetable garden, and started raising honey bees. We keep some for ourselves, but the vast majority we give to neighbors and sell for charity. Outside of being able distribute the fruits of our harvest to family and friends, it has forced me to notice just some of the awesome nature in my own back yard!
