About Me

To even call myself a photographer is an gross injustice to the word. I’m just a normal guy, who wanted to learn to slow down and experience the world, not just “see it”. The camera was my way of doing this.

By actual profession, I am a management consultant that works in the aviation industry. I have been doing this for well over 20 years now, and my occupation has taken me all over the world. Around three years ago I looked back and realized that while I had seen many parts of the world, I had experienced far fewer. I was more of an aficionado of room service grilled cheese than I was of anything else. I wanted to change this.

So, I bought a camera, a lens or two, and watched an awful lot of YouTube videos on how to actually operate this thing. It turns out...it’s pretty hard! Who knew? I’ve met great photographers around the world who have been kind and generous with their time and advice. I lug my camera gear most places I go now, and try to squeeze in time to go out and really experience the places I travel.

Over the past year people have started requesting prints of selected photos, likely out of pure pity. But regardless of their motivation, I wanted to do something more with these photos. First, I wanted a place where I could share some of my favorite places and photos with friends and family. Second, I wanted to see if I could raise some money for an organization that is close to my heart, For Oak Cliff.

I will add new locations and photos all the time. These photos will be available for purchase, with all of the proceeds going directly to For Oak Cliff.
