Dubai, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

I spent three years commuting to the Emirates between 2008 and 2011. Outside of a lot of hotel restaurants, and the back seat of a lot of taxis, I saw next to nothing of the region. In 2018, I returned with a group of friends flying over for a long-weekend! Probably the most epic weekend I have ever had. A year later I got stranded in Dubai transiting to New Zealand because of visa requirements. It was on this trip I happened to have my camera gear with my and powered through as many things as I could. These photos are a few of my favorites from the Desert and some of the icons in the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai themselves.
