Hawaii

In the early 2000s I spent about five years working in San Francisco. Our son was a young lad at this point, so we looked for easy vacations. Jumping over to Hawaii became our “go to” vacation. I never took any photos over these many trips. In 2021, I was completing a project for a client in Southeast Asia. We did this entirely remotely due to COVID-19. As it turns out there is a pretty substantial time zone difference. So for 6 months we spent most nights working through the evening. In late December we decided to make a trip to the Island of Lanaii, and I stayed over in Maui two extra nights. The stated purpose of this trip was to improve work time zones. And while we actually did work…there were many other side benefits! The office view of the Ocean is much better than living room.
